The Fall GoF for 2024 will take place in Blanco, a small town in the Texas Hill Country. Like many Texas towns, the heart of the town is the square where the beautiful Courthouse has presided since 1886. Today, the Old Blanco County Courthouse is still the pride of the town, and it is the centerpiece of our Gathering. The car show on Saturday will take place literally in the shadow of the Courthouse, and both our Saturday lunch and the Awards Banquet will be held in the spacious Courtroom.

Registration is open from now until November 7; however, a late registration fee will be charged for registrations made after October 19 and t-shirts cannot be custom ordered after that date, so don't delay!

Itinerary

Thursday, November 7: British Pub & Grub - The Acopon Brewing Co. in Dripping Springs features British beer brewed onsite, and participants will enjoy savory treats from the Great British Baking Co. courtesy of our sponsors. After enjoying a pint or two, Hudson's on Mercer (just a block away) will be featuring their house band.

Friday, November 8: The day is yours to enjoy scenic drives through beautiful Hill Country. Our morning drive will end up at a great local restaurant, and the afternoon Pick Your Poison Poker Run will take you to some of the best local wineries, distilleries and breweries. The evening features Pies & Pints at the Real Ale Brewing Co., who will also be offering tours of their brewery. Enjoy delicious pizza from a wood fired oven along with your local brew!

Saturday, November 9: Car show! Our lovely LBCs will look even better displayed around the Courthouse square. Lunch features a choice of BBQ from the authentic Old 300 BBQ, served in the comfort of the Courtroom. In the afternoon, take your GoF passport to local shops and restaurants, or learn something new from the TMGR Tech Team. You may also choose to visit local attractions such as the LBJ ranch near Johnson City. Saturday night is Judgement Night in Blanco, as we enjoy a wonderful banquet and give awards to the deserving. And don't forget to open your wallets to the always popular Silent and Live Auctions benefitting the TMGR.

Sunday, November 10: Time to have a last breakfast and say goodbye until the 50th anniversary Gathering of the Faithful in Kerrville next Mother's Day!

More information about the events and a detailed schedule will be mailed out to registrants and TMGR members as we get closer to the date.

Accommodations

Many of you have already reserved accommodations. So many, in fact, that as of early September, all of the available hotel spaces in Blanco have been reserved. Don't worry, though! We have arranged a special rate at the Best Western Hotel in nearby Johnson City. Contact them at 830-868-4044 and ask for the TMGR rate. You can also check with the Blanco River Hotel at 830-833-5697 to see if they have had any cancellations.

T-Shirts

Commemorative T-shirts for the event can be ordered when you register. Be sure to register and order the ones you want before October 19. A very limited number of t-shirts will be available for sale along with other regalia when you register with the organizers on site.
