1958 MGA Coupe

Asking $12,000

Originally purchased in 1983 in Tucson Arizona and had always been a desert car.  Original paint was blue but it had been repainted many times.  Took it down to the metal and repainted it green in 1987.

In 2014 it was again striped and painted as the lacquer paint was cracking.  No rust.

Engine is an original MGA but I'm running carbs from an MGB.

Includes a custom tow bar.

I have all receipts for all work that's been done since I bought the car.

1955 MG TF 1500

$10,000.00

Club member David Breeding is attempting to assist a recent widow to find a good home for her husband’s beloved MG-TF 1500 (1955).  She would like it to go to an enthusiast who would get it back on the road, drive and enjoy it.

The history as David understands it:  The husband acquired the MG-TF about 20 years ago from another local College Station resident, however it has been sitting in the garage for some time during his illness and needs lots of TLC.  Body appears straight, in reasonably good shape, and all doors and bonnet operate properly.  It has an extra fuel tank, and the only major missing part I noted is the front bumper.  In my assessment, with a good, detailed cleaning inside and out, it would present well with “patina.”  Carbs are off the engine, but otherwise drive train appears complete.  Tires are flat but did hold air for rolling a few months back; one has split out since she is willing to consider putting on new tires & tubes to aid in rolling it out.  And there are boxes of new and old parts.  It has the original jack and wheel hammer.  I’ve attached a few photos, and have several more I can provide on request.

The owner is:

Maria McCreary

(979) 777-4151

College Station, TX

I know someone out there is eager to take on an MG-TF 1500.  If possible, Ms. McCreary would like a ride in the MG when it’s back on the road.

1972/73 MGB

We are selling our MGB; it was built in 1972 and titled in 1973.  We have owned 5 MGs and this one is the best we ever had.  It starts every time and has been totally reliable for us during the three years we have owned it.  The only updates of which we are aware is the conversion to one twelve volt battery, the weber carb and the updated upholstery.  The car drives great and has a new convertible top installed at Sportscar Warehouse.  We have more pictures if you need them.

We are asking $12,500.00 or best offer.  Thank you.  Jim & Linda Curzan

1958 MG Magnette ZB.

Owned since 1995.  The car is an original Texas car.  The near rust free car was repaired and painted around 1997.  All the chrome was redone at that time.  Car has a new wiring harness.  The motor is original 1500 and has never been apart.  The front end was completely rebuilt in 2004, the carbs and distributor rebuilt at John Twist's University session in 2008, the rear end was completely rebuilt with a 3.9 pumpkin in 2010.  Five new tires in  2018 and a new clutch was in 2019.  All parts and maintenance records kept since purchased.

The car needs an interior; carpet and seats.  I have all the little bits and assorted things to complete the car, but just have not found time to put them on.  This car has always been driven.  It's been to dozens of GOFs, three NAMGAR GT's including Memphis two years ago and Delavan Wisconsin in 2010.  The car is a good runner and drives beautifully.  I would drive this car anywhere in the country at any time.  There are not many Magnettes out there, and if you find one it is usually a poorly restored rust bucket.  This car has many spares including another transmission and leather interior.

Buy it, drive it or fix it up.  It would be a great find for a family, as this car can actually carry passengers and luggage comfortably.

Asking $15,200

Originally imported from Scotland to New Orleans 45 years ago.  Been with the same owner for the last 43 years.  Comes with many spares including rebuilt gearbox and fully rebuilt Judson supercharger.  Currently has hotted up 1250cc engine. Cam overlap currently prevents using the Judson.  Spare strengthened axles, hydraulic jack system complete.  Needs fresh battery and fuel to run.  Good tires,  brakes are operational but need a flush by now.  Sliding sun roof and crank open windshield are some of the fun things on this MG.

Car is in Covington, LA  I can assist with transport.

1979 MG Midget $8590 OBO

I have owned this MG for 20+ years and the previous owner always kept it in the garage as well.

It has 40,626 original miles. I have a clear title.

It has a slight brake fluid leak. Master cylinder was replaced but leak continues

I had a cutoff installed in the glove box so that the battery is disengaged when stored. Keeps the battery like new.

Tires are like new and has an extra inner tube

Asking $8595 OBO
